SKULL MATCH ("the App") is a free match-3 dungeon crawler game published by FLOVAH ("we", "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any information associated with your use of the App.
The App collects the following information only when you choose to submit your score to the online leaderboard:
Leaderboard Data: Your chosen display name (initials), game score, level reached, character class, and approximate region (derived from your device language setting). This data is stored on Firebase Realtime Database and is publicly visible on the in-game leaderboard.
Local Data: Game settings (language, sound volume) and saved game progress are stored locally on your device using localStorage and iOS Keychain. Daily heart counts and the FLOVAH PASS purchase flag are also stored locally; the Keychain copy persists across app reinstalls to prevent abuse. This data never leaves your device.
The App does not collect: real names, email addresses, phone numbers, location data (GPS), device identifiers, photos, contacts, health data, financial information, or any other personally identifiable information. The App does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking technologies.
Leaderboard data is used solely to display a public scoreboard within the App. We do not sell, share, or transfer this data to any third parties for marketing or other purposes.
The App uses Google Firebase Realtime Database to store leaderboard scores. Firebase is operated by Google LLC. Please refer to the Firebase Privacy Policy for details on how Google processes data.
The App offers a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase ("FLOVAH PASS" / "Unlimited Play") that unlocks unlimited daily play sessions. Payment is processed by Apple via the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. The purchase entitlement is verified by Apple and stored as a single flag in your device's Keychain.
Leaderboard entries are retained indefinitely so that monthly Hall of Fame winners can be preserved permanently. If you wish to have your leaderboard entry removed, please contact us at the email below with the approximate score and display name you used. Local game data can be cleared by deleting the App from your device; the Keychain-backed purchase flag and daily heart counter will persist until you sign out of your Apple ID or contact us for assistance.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The leaderboard feature requires only a self-chosen display name (initials) and does not require any personal information. The App is rated 9+ for mild fantasy violence.
Leaderboard submission is optional. You can play the game without submitting scores. When prompted to enter your name for the leaderboard, you may decline or enter any display name of your choosing.
The App is available worldwide via the App Store. Leaderboard data submitted from any region is stored on Firebase servers operated by Google and may be processed in the United States or other countries where Google maintains infrastructure. By submitting a score, you consent to this international transfer.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will additionally be announced in the App.
